Mpohor SDA Women’s Ministry 3-Days Conference

The Mpohor district of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, South-West Ghana Conference, has ended it’s three-day women’s ministry retreat. The 3 days event which took place from the 17th to the 19th of June 2022 was under the theme “I will go, revive me” at the Mpohor Adventist Church.

Mpohor SDA Women’s Ministry 3-Days Conference

The Mpohor district of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, South-West Ghana Conference, has ended it’s three-day women’s ministry retreat. The 3 days event which took place from the 17th to the 19th of June 2022 was under the theme “I will go, revive me” at the Mpohor Adventist Church.

The program began on Friday evening with a Bible lecture by the Mpohor district pastor—Pr Ernest Obeng—dubbed “The Adventist Women and Sabbath Keeping.”

Members were taken through lectures like “Marrying a non-Adventist: the consequences and provisions”.

During the divine service, Mrs. Mercy Bioh Mensah the South-West Ghana Conference women's ministry director, admonished the women in the district to be mission-minded and be prepared to take up mission challenges.

During the Sabbath afternoon, Mrs. Cynthia Kumah, a Nurses Educator at the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Asanta, gave a lecture on Pregnancy: Before, During, and After Delivery. Followed by other health lectures led by Mrs. Janet Obeng, the District Women Ministries counselor.

As part of the program were a dinner event and sports activities. At the climax of the program was a consecration service.
