THE YOUNG WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT – PIONEER GHANA CONFERENCE

The Women’s Ministries Department of the Pioneer Ghana Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church organized a one-day event dubbed the Young Women’s Empowerment Summit for young women within the conference. The summit took place on June 29, 2025, at the Glorious Black and White Events Centre in Kasoa. The main goal of the program was to empower young women to confidently reach their world with faith and purpose.

The summit featured a range of impactful topics delivered by seasoned speakers. Pastor Dr. Josiah Ando addressed “Issues with Marriage: Before and After,” Mrs. Phyllis Araba Kofuwa taught on “How to Get, Save, and Manage Money,” Mrs. Christiana Agyenim Boateng spoke on “The Impact of an Adventist Young Woman in Contemporary Christian Life,” and Mrs. Faustina Otabil Agyirifo led a session on “Skill Training.” Pastor Boah Akebo inspired attendees with a devotion on “Spiritual Growth,” and the day concluded with a powerful closing prayer by Pastor Daniel Owusu Sekyere, Adventist Men’s Ministries Director.

The program recorded an impressive turnout of about 420 participants, including several young men who expressed keen interest and joined the sessions.

The event was highly impactful, with participants actively engaging, asking questions, and showing enthusiasm throughout. Due to the overwhelming success and positive feedback, the Women’s Ministries Department is planning to collaborate with the Men’s Ministries to organize a similar program for both young women and young men in the near future.

The Young Women’s Empowerment Summit not only achieved its objective of equipping participants with practical skills and spiritual guidance but also exceeded the expected number of attendees, making it a truly remarkable and successful event.
