West Central Ghana Conference Ends Young Women's Congress

The West Central Ghana Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist Church organized a four (4) day retreat for the young women in the church from 19th to 23rd October, 2022 at Awodua community center.
The event sought to equip young women in the church to conform to social norms and also make themselves available for the lord's work.
Participating in this program were four hundred and sixteen (416) young women from their respective churches.
They were taken through presentations on Health, Business strategy presentation, Relationship talks and Skills training.
During his address, Pastor Dr. Emmanuel Cobbinah Junior, President of the West Central Ghana Conference, admonished the young women to be dependable, devoted, and truthful in all of their endeavors.
He exhorted them to uphold their chastity in order to serve as an example to others and to the Lord.
In her presentation, Professor Grace Ofori Sarpong, the dean of postgraduate students at UMAT, discussed the empowerment of women and encouraged the Adventist Young Women to develop their self-esteem and create goals for their future. She pushed them to hold fast to Christ and make him the center of their life.
She also advised the participants to form a strong network as young women in other to share ideas and opportunities
