In a heartwarming display of unity and gratitude, the 50 and counting club of the Adenta Central Adventist church in the Adenta district has organized a musical concert for senior citizens of the church. The event organized on Saturday, August 26th, aimed to celebrate and support the well-being of cherished elderly members of the church. The event took place at Adenta Central Adventist church premises.

The musical concert, a first of its kind for the 50 and Counting Club, was an opportunity to honor the senior citizens of the church who have not only contributed immensely to the growth of the congregation but have also served as pillars of wisdom and experience. The club's leadership, alongside the church's pastoral team, recognized the need to create a special moment that not only showcased the talents within the congregation but also expressed gratitude for the wealth of knowledge the elderly members have shared over the years.

The program commenced with heartfelt opening remarks from the founder of the club, Dr. Mabel Oti-Boadi. She emphasized the significance of celebrating the elderly members and creating a strong bond between generations. Elder Godfred Mawutor also acknowledged the support of the church's leadership in making the event a reality.

As the musical performances began, the stage was graced by the church singing band and choir, Peniel choir, the True Preachers singing group and members of the 50 and Counting Club. Many in attendance couldn't help but join in singing along, their faces radiant with memories.

Members of the 50 and Counting Club, adorned in coordinating T-shirts with inscription “Aging in grace”, the event became a resounding testament to the power of music in bridging generational divides and affirming the profound impact of ageless faith within the church community.

Dr. Mabel Oti-Boadi, founder of the club in an interview unveiled the profound purpose behind the meticulously organized musical concert. She also added that, the club look forward to more engaging projects.
