The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Adventist Heritage Co-operative Fund Ltd. (AHCoF) was successfully held on Wednesday, 28th May 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The event took place at the Prince Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church, located within the grounds of the Southern Ghana Union Conference.

ADVENTIST HERITAGE CO-OPERATIVE FUND LTD. HOLDS 2024 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Adventist Heritage Co-operative Fund Ltd. (AHCoF) was successfully held on Wednesday, 28th May 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The event took place at the Prince Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church, located within the grounds of the Southern Ghana Union Conference. The AGM provided an opportunity to review the fund's performance for the year 2024.

The meeting brought together a cross-section of leadership and stakeholders, including the President of the MID-East Union Conference who doubles up as the Chairman of the Board, Ps. Dr. Adu Boahen, President of the SGUC and the VC of the board, Ps. Thomas Tachi Ocran, the executive Sec. of the SGUC, Ps. Dr. Chris Annan Nunoo, the CEO of AHCOF, Mrs. Elizabeth Kusi-Nsiah, Acting Registrar of Co-operatives, Edith Dzidzornu, directors, Board Members, Conference Presidents, institutional heads, and members of the media.

The AGM share strategic plans and ways to strengthen stakeholder engagement towards advancing the mission of AHCoF.

In his address, the Chairman, Ps. Dr. Adu Boahen, commended the Fund’s performance for the year under review and expressed gratitude for the support and trust of members. He reaffirmed the board’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and the continued financial empowerment of the Adventist community.

The Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Elizabeth Kusi-Nsiah, presented the management report, outlining the strides made in loan disbursement, member services, and operational efficiency. She emphasized the Fund’s focus on innovation and digitalization as a path toward enhanced service delivery. Despite economic headwinds, AHCoF recorded growth in membership and asset value, with strengthened internal controls and customer care systems.

The Credit Committee in its report praised members for a commendable improvement in loan repayment behavior, which has contributed to a more stable and sustainable credit environment. The committee noted ongoing efforts to review credit policies to ensure fair access and responsible lending.

An independent audit presented by external auditors confirmed that the Fund's financial records reflect a true and fair view of its financial position. Highlights included an increase in assets, a healthy surplus margin, and improved liquidity. Members welcomed the report with optimism and encouraged leadership to sustain the gains made.

Speaking to Hope Channel News, CEO Mrs. Elizabeth Kusi-Nsiah shared how AHCOF has helped in developmental projects by donating to various institutions, schools and hospitals.

She also highlighted that the limited look forward to similar developments to come.

Chairman Ps. Dr. Adu Boahen added that, “This is a call to greater responsibility and growth and AHCOF is committed to long-term value for their members.”

Acting Registrar Madam Edith Dzidzornu, in her remarks, described the Fund as a model for other church-based co-operatives and encouraged members to remain active and informed.

The AGM ended with a renewed sense of purpose and solidarity, as members pledged their continued support to the vision of the Adventist Heritage Co-operative Fund Ltd.—a vision rooted in service, stewardship, and sustainability.
