“Aim At The Best” Adventist Young Ladies Advised

To encourage the reading and a probe into understanding of the prophecies in the bible, the Women’s Ministries Department of the Ashanti South Ghana Conference, has organized a Bible Quiz for Young Ladies in the church. The quiz, which started at the local church level, through District and Sector, was crowned at the premises of the Obuasi Estate Seventh Day Adventist Church.

In attendance were executives of the Northern Ghana Union Conference.

Five, out of the seven Sectors in the Conference, were represented at the quiz.

In an interview with HAN, the Director of Women and Children’s Ministry of the Northern Ghana Union Conference, Mrs. Vida Linda Gyasi, advised the youth, particularly young ladies, not to be deterred by their immediate unfavorable circumstances to settle for mediocre but to strive for the best.

The Ashanti South Ghana Conference Women’s Ministry Director, Madam Esther Osei, was full of appreciation for all who had contributed in various ways to make the quiz a success.

She hinted that the older women would also have their quiz program in the coming days.

The Obuasi Estate District Pastor, Pastor Malick Agyeman Duah, on his part, urged all to imitate the contestants by studying the Bible and the Prophecies because its comprehension is not beyond anyone’s reach.

At the end of it all, the host sector, Obuasi Estate, came out as the winners of the quiz. Prizes and awards were presented to deserving contestants.
