In a spirit-filled and solemn ceremony, the Southern Ghana Union Conference (SGUC), in collaboration with the Accra City Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, hosted a grand Pastors’ Ordination Service, a sacred occasion marking a new chapter in ministerial service and spiritual leadership. The event was held at the Garrison Seventh-day Adventist Church, Burma Camp, Accra.

Held under the auspices of the SGUC, the ordination service brought together top leadership of the Union, including the President of SGUC, Pastor Dr. T.T. Ocran, the Executive Secretary, Pastor Dr. Chris Annan Nunoo, and directors of the Union. Also present were the President of the Accra City Conference (ACC), Pastor Dr. S.O.T. Hammond, directors of the ACC, along with directors and representatives from sister conferences under the SGUC umbrella.

The congregation also welcomed retired pastors, the Shepherd International Team, and several special dignitaries, all of whom came to celebrate the calling and commitment of the newly ordained ministers.

With hearts lifted in worship, the ceremony echoed the importance of total dedication to God’s work. In his charge to the new pastors, Pastor Dr. T.T. Ocran emphasized the sacred responsibility they were accepting, calling on them to be unwavering in their commitment to truth, service, and spiritual leadership.

The newly ordained pastors were reminded that the call to ministry is not a title, but a life of sacrifice, humility, and unwavering devotion. They were urged to serve with integrity, lead with compassion, and preach with power in the spirit of Christ.

The ordination was not just a celebration of titles, but a reaffirmation of the Church’s commitment to equipping dedicated shepherds for the end-time gospel mission.

 As friends, family, and fellow ministers laid hands in prayer, it was clear that the work ahead would be challenging, but never without divine presence.
