As part of its annual activities, the Akoasi District of the Adventist church led by the District Pastor and the women's Ministry Department has donated assorted items worth GHC 15,000.00 to about 120 less privileged

Church members within the Akoasi District. 

It was an atmosphere of great joy, dancing, and merrymaking for the Akoasi District of the selfless support from leaders and individuals in the district.  The donation aims to cushion less privileged members as part of their social responsibility while indulging other Adventists to look beyond their immediate environment, families, and comfort zones.     

In attendance was the chairperson for the program Mrs. Bernice Amo wife of the chief of New Abirem, Speaking to HAN, Mrs. Bernice Amo commended the Adventist church for the kind gesture shown to members of the church.
