Bechem District Donates Assorted Items To Pisgah Hospital

As part of their yearly benevolent activities, Bechem District under the leadership of Pastor Samuel Nyametease and the district administration, on Saturday October 3, 2022 donated assorted items worth hundreds of Ghana Cedis to the PISGAH Advance Medical Center at Bechem in the Ahafo Region.
The Women's Ministries department of the Adventist church is well known and responsible for the welfare of church members as well as outreach programs.
The items donated among other things were Bedspreads, tissues, drinks, detergents, mobs, brushes and laundry buckets.
Since the Women’s Ministry is known for outreach programs that seek to provide donations to the poor and needy, the kind gesture by the Bechem church to the PISGAH Advanced Medical Centre is no exception, according to Madam Veronica Appiah, the leader of the church's women's ministries.
Mr. Benson Kyereme, the director of the hospital, expressed gratitude to the church's leadership on behalf of the hospital's management and emphasized that this donation was the first of its sort the center had ever received from a religious group since its founding.
Mr. Kyereme also requested more of these donations to be made, citing the adage "Oliver ask for more," to help the hospital's patients receive better healthcare. He mentioned how some patients and their families have a very tough time paying for the necessary medical care and other products that speed up recuperation.
The team's leader, Pastor Samuel Nyametease, explained the motivation behind the donation by pointing out that the medical center is not only doing incredibly well at providing top-notch medical services, but also spiritual upliftment and ongoing health education, which has drawn clients from nearby and far-off towns. The ongoing expansion initiatives are, in fact, a glaring indication that more resources—including donations—are required to assist the hospital in providing its services.
