The event was accompanied by a two-week crusade also sponsored by Mr. Isaac Owusu, which resulted in the baptism of one hundred new souls into the Adventist Church in Homanase. This celebration drew the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency, Hon. Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum; Ps. Dr. Samuel Antwi Mensah, President of the South Central Ghana Conference; Prof. Dr. Obour, former Vice-Chancellor of Valley View University; retired Dr. Chaplain P.O. Mensah, former President of the Ghana Union Conference; Ps. Jonathan Owusu, Executive Secretary of the Ashanti Central Ghana Conference; and Ps. Amponsah Mensah, Executive Secretary of the South Central Ghana Conference, among others.

During his address, Hon. Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, the Minister of Education, lauded the Adventist Church for its significant contributions to Ghana's advancement in education, health, humanitarian services through ADRA, and more. He urged parents to actively participate in their children's education, recounting how his own parents' involvement in his schooling had profoundly impacted his life.

Furthermore, Dr. Adutwum commended Mr. Isaac Owusu and his wife for their sponsorship of a two-week crusade, resulting in one hundred individuals being baptized into the Adventist Church in Homanase. Their generous support for the construction of the Homanase SDA Church building also received special acknowledgment. Dr. Adutwum encouraged all Christians to emulate Mr. Owusu's exemplary character.

The program was further enriched by Prof. Dr. Obour, who shared the history of the Homanase Church, and the celestial City Choir added a melodious touch to the proceedings.

To officially consecrate the new church building, Hon. Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, with his experience and insight, assisted the pastors and elders in this sacred task.
