Kwaman Seventh-Day Adventist Church Dedicates Deacons And Deaconess Robes For Service.

It is well known that deacons and deaconesses help to keep the church’s services and activities running smoothly.

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, The Kwaaman Seventh-Day Adventist Church of the Mid-Central Ghana Conference in the Ashanti area dedicated its Deacons and Deaconess gowns to God's glory in this manner.

Gracing the occasion was the Executive Secretary of Mid-Central Ghana Conference, (Ps. Alexander Marfo), Ps. Retired Amponsah Acheampong, Ps. Obed Osei Agyemang (The District Pastor) and some District and local Elders.

Ps. Alexander Marfo on behalf of the conference dedicated the robes with the help of Ps. Amponsah Acheampong.

He also charged the Deacons and the Deaconess to use the robes for their purpose which is church services, but they should first be clean and sanctified since the robes are blessed and ordained before worn.

Simon Nsiah, Asante Ernest, and Agyekum Williams, three individuals from the Kwaman local church, got together to donate toward the cost of the robes.

According to Ps. Obed Osei Agyeman, the district pastor, it is essential to start requiring deacons and deaconesses in the Boaman District to wear robes to make services more beautiful and to glorify the Lord as well.

Ps. Obed Osei Agyeman also used the opportunity to express his sincere thanks to the church's current and former deacons, as well as the deaconesses, for their contributions to the advancement of the Kwaman church.

The church presented a citation to all the present and past Deacons and deaconesses of the church to appreciate what they have done to the service of the Lord.

Mr. Simon Nsiah in an interview with Hope Adventist News explained what compelled them to contribute to buy the robes.
