The Western North Ghana Conference Adventist women’s ministries department has marked its maiden Congress to educate and help the women in the conference to reaffirm their faith in God.

Western North Ghana Conference Women’s/Children Department Ends Their Women’s Ministries Congress
The Western North Ghana Conference Adventist women’s ministries department has marked its maiden Congress to educate and help the women in the conference to reaffirm their faith in God. The event which was under the theme “I WILL GO, LORD EMPOWER ME took place from October 19-23,2022 at Dadieso in the Western region.
In attendance were, the conference's president, Pastor Ackay Miezah Joseph, Pr Emanuel Gyedu Anaafi(Executive Sectary WNGC) and some officers of the conference.
During the gathering, the women were charged to go out and make disciples, win souls by helping and caring for the less fortunate in their communities.
In all, 650 women attended the Congress.
The conference's president, Pastor Ackay Miezah Joseph, inspired the women and urged them to keep up their dedication to supporting the ministry.
"Be like the women in the Bible, so that people will remember you for your good deeds when you are gone” he said.
Mrs. Serwaa Bonsu, the director of the conference's women's and children's ministries stated
"Today a history is being made; this is the first of its kind and I believe that any day you are called you will answer; this calling is from the LORD, and He asks, who will I send? And we will all say LORD I am here; send me."
One of the organizers, Mrs. Serwaa Tawiah Bonsu, expressed her amazement at the turnout and encouraged women to utilized the vocational skills they had learnt during the program. These included how to make hair pomade, Hausa porridge, and koose.
The program ended with a watch night service.
